  4. Alexander Trotter Hand (1835-1898) He was born in Clark Co., MS. Lived his life in Miss. and died in Lauderdale Co., MS. His father was:

  5. John Britton Hand (1794-1843). He lived most of his life in Miss. and is buried in Clark Co., Ms. His father was:

  6. Obadiah Hand (1760-1837). It is believed that he was born on Staton Island, NY. He lived there, in S. C., in Miss., and in Alabama, where he passed away in Sumter Co., AL. His father was:

  7. Samuel Hand Samuel Hand (wife, Miss Lum) lived in the Northern New Jersey, Staton Island area and in Canada. His father was:

  8. Nehemiah Hand. Nehemiah Hand was born in 1700, and his wife Lydia was born in 1701. He left a will dated 8 SEP 1772, Borough of Elizabeth, Essex Co., NJ. His father was:

  9. Samuel Hand. He was married to Elizabeth. Genealogist disagree on whether the line actually came through this Samuel Hand or his brother Stephen, Jr. They do seem to agree that it came through the father who was:

  10. Stephen Hand. He was born in 1635 and died 15 APR 1693. He married Sarah Stratton around 1660. His father was:

  11. John Hand. John Hand was our immigrant ancestor. He was born in 1611 in Stanstede, Kent, England. He married Alice Gransden. He came to America in 1635 and passed away in 1663 on Long Island, NY.
